The LP-T Series laser tube cutting machine now offers a Φ320 mm configuration that extends the supported tube range by about 40% over the previous Φ230 mm limit. The new option covers round tube from Φ20 to Φ320 mm, with wall thickness from 1 to 10 mm depending on diameter, and is aimed at structural tube, hydraulic and piping assemblies, and heavy shaft work. Orders for the Φ320 configuration are being accepted now, with deliveries starting from August 2026.
Supporting the larger diameter required a new dual-chuck arrangement with independently adjustable centring, so tube can be loaded and clamped concentrically without re-fixturing between sizes. The rotary axis holds runout below 0.05 mm across the full Φ320 envelope, and the redesigned rear support roller set keeps long tubes straight through the cut zone without additional fixturing.
Cutting performance stays consistent with the rest of the range: the Φ320 configuration uses the 3 kW source with the 0.4 mm spot option, cutting 3 mm mild steel at roughly 11 m/min and 6 mm at about 5 m/min. Burr on Φ100 × 3 mm tube stays below 0.5 mm, and the automatic cut-off angle program holds squareness within 0.3° on the Φ320 setup.
Software support is included at no charge. The LP-Plus tube library now covers Φ20 to Φ320 profiles with pre-loaded pierce and lead-in parameters, and operators can import existing DXF nests without re-tagging every part. The same job runs on the standard LP-T bed, so the Φ320 option does not require a separate machine model or a larger footprint.
For fabricators that need both sheet and tube capability, the Φ320 configuration can be paired with the LP-A series tube loader, which automates feeding, clamping and part discharge for round tube up to Φ320 mm. A full comparison of configurations is available in the LP-T catalogue, and application engineers can support sample cutting trials on request.
